FOCUS
Building
FOUNDATIONS OF CONTINUED UNDERGRADUATE SUCCESS is an ongoing process for every
first-year student. Participating in a FOCUS Block each semester and exploring
self-identity and self with others during the linked In FOCUS session provides
structure for this growth.
Additionally,
FOCUS students benefit from professional staff guidance, non-classroom
activities led by peer mentors and development of an individual FOCUS Plan for
maximizing the educational experience and earning a degree. Participants may
request assignment to the optional FOCUS
Living-Learning Community in Hobby Hall.
Regents’ Scholars may register for FOCUS at focus.tamu.edu in the spring/summer prior to enrolling at Texas A&M. Students who are not eligible for a Regents’ Scholarship may request placement on the wait list.
